Because I can't set scaling off in my video card options. When teh Mushroom Demonqueen died, I could't even watch neato movies. Could really love the game, IF IT LET ME PLAY IT NORMALLY FURTHER THAN TEMPLE LEVEL 3. then I started to put all these neaty flags on locations which I thought were important, carefully exploring the village, and when I cleared first dungeon I felt really good, and killing Lareth was so much fun. It kinda grew on me slowly, at first radial interface made me mad, and character sprites were so ugly, and everything else from simple towns to towers were too overscaled, too big, and map sucked, and journal sucked even more. No restoration packs, no fan made patches needed, no bugs, no conflicts with newer video drivers.
That's what I love about Baldur's Gate so much - you install and play, from 1998 and up until now, just put the disc in and play. I never had any problems with finishing any of Bioware games. I know I'm speaking too big here, but that's why Bioware is popular, and Troika is no more - because games of the former were worse, but PLAYABLE. Combat was so good, especially before I found Fragarach and my casters got mnogo-nukes, but why is this game so shit everywhere fucking else. Well maybe until 2025 when Co8 16.1.0 comes out if Skynet would not nuke humanity before that.ĭamn I'm so angry. That's it I'm uninstalling this bucket of Troikas buggish turd and swear to never touch it again. It's an epic story of me starting the game other and other again and trying to find a way to final level without any crashes inbetween dungeon levels.
I had about 50+ crashes in the end and I had to kill final boss without any skull upgrades and without any elemental nodes slain. I've just beaten ToEE for the first time with 6.1.0.
